Fibromyalgia
A condition where the main symptom is long lasting pain that affects the whole body. The pain is not brought on by injury.
Long COVID
Most people who get sick with COVID-19 recover within two to six weeks but some people have ongoing symptoms for weeks or months, known as post- or long COVID. It is estimated that up to one third of people who get sick with COVID-19 will have long COVID. Long COVID is a biological, not psychological, condition.
Back Pain
Back pain includes pain that affects any area of your spine or the surrounding muscles, nerves and tissues. Your back includes the area from your neck to your buttocks. Low back pain is pain that is felt in the lower part of the spine.
Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome
POTS is a condition that causes a number of symptoms when you transition from lying down to standing up, such as a fast heart rate, dizziness and fatigue. It’s a disorder of the autonomic nervous system.
Post Exertional Malaise
PEM is where minimal exertion can cause fatigue, pain and cognitive problems. People with fatiguing conditions can experience PEM. Minor physical or mental activity can worsen symptoms of PEM. The level of activity that triggers PEM varies from person to person. This can occur from 12-48 hours after activity.
